Gathering, culling, and editing eight years of cell phone photos was quite the trip down memory lane. It's incredibly simple to forget the small moments, including endless spontaneous adventures (and favorite meals). Flipping through our cell phone book is like scrolling through the highlights of my iPhone photo library. I'll probably never look back at a hard drive, but I know for sure I'll pick up our book off the coffee table.

The Adventure

The first two years of cell phone memories are from our Arizona Days. If you missed the posts, I wrote about Sedona and Scottsdale -- our two favorite spots. If you are tired of hearing about Arizona, fear not, I've safely archived the memories. We are in Texas now, and never looking back!

Like most dog owners, I took an absurd number of photos of Charlie, Rory, and Ellie. I designed a spread for each adoption, including screenshots, and pictures from our initial meetings.

I also created a photo book dedicated to Ellie’s adoption. You can find the post here!

One of my favorite spreads tells the story of our move to Texas. The pictures on two pages include packing (and Rory eating packing paper), buying a house in a WEEKEND, and driving to Dallas! Rory remembers those memories perfectly, but we needed some help-

Creating a book with iPhone photos was a pure delight. I know I say it all the time, but I'm so thankful for the ability to print our memories and enjoy them on a whim. We fill our living room with countless happy memories, and I'll tell you what, those books and pictures can brighten up the gloomiest days.

If you are interested in creating a book filled with your cell phone photos, I would love to help. Here's how I organized our photos, but it was completely a personal preference. I would recommend including people photos, but that's true of any book. :)

Thanks for stopping by the blog!
