What’s included in each Photo Book Project?

Each project includes one twenty page layflat photo book, sixty edited photographs, one custom image gallery with digital downloads of all edited photos, two rounds of proofing and editing, shipping to one address and endless hours of enjoyment (preferably with a plate of chocolate chip cookies).

How long does the Photo Book Project process take from start to finish?

Depending on the size and scope of the project, the average time from image upload to book delivery is six weeks. Three weeks for editing, design, and proofing, and three weeks production and delivery.

How many photos fit on a book page?

We recommend two to three images per page. The quantity of photos per page also depends on image size and resolution.

Can I download the edited versions of my pictures?

Yes! We provide a custom gallery with a “download all” option.

What program do you use for editing?

Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop.

What if I don’t like your photo editing style?

Not to worry - photo editing is not a requirement. If you want to edit your photos before uploading, Snapseed is easy to use and VSCO has some rad presets if you are going for a certain look.

Or, if you don’t want to edit at all, that’s fine too.

Can’t I just make my own book?

Yes! We fully support all photo book makers! We create lay-flat albums at The Photo Book Project. Other companies offer different binding options depending on your budget and desired aesthetic.
