Flowers and Facades: Main Street Magic Around McKinney, Texas

Downtown McKinney, Texas is one of my favorite places in all of DFW. As such, whenever family and friends visit the metroplex, we almost always plan a meal or a coffee in the historic square! There is so much main street charm in McKinney, and I've outlined a few of the most magical spots below. Main Street U.S.A. Magic at Home

Two weeks ago, I excitedly announced a new project called "Flowers and Facades." In short, whenever I have a free weekend or feel the call of Disney World, I'm going to choose a local Main Street and spend the day exploring turn-of-the-century architecture, treating myself to a coffee and perusing family-owned shops.

Swiss Cocoa is My New Drink of Choice

Our First Day in Zurich

Last Spring Break, David and I flew to Switzerland for a week of skiing, pretzels, and hot cocoa. As with our somewhat impromptu Hawaii trip, we found a fantastic flight deal via "Scott's Cheap Flights" and paid $384/roud trip/person. I love Scott's Cheap Flights.
